KuralHub lists 1 speech emotion recognition dataset for Odia. Each entry below gives the emotion labels, size, recording setup, licence, where to get it and how to cite it. Odia is also part of the benchmark. The best of 11 models reached 83.0% test accuracy (wavlm-large).
Odia is one of the 29 languages in the KuralHub benchmark. Each of the 11 frozen speech models was trained with a small classification head on the shared emotions and scored on a held-out test split. Over all 11 runs the mean test accuracy was 64.4% (median 64.0%). The best run reached 83.0% with wavlm-large. Compare with other languages.
SITB-OSED (run ID SITB-OSED). Scores on the test split, best run highlighted.
SITB-OSED is the first open-source large Odia speech emotion database developed by Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar. The dataset contains recordings from 20 professional Odia native speakers covering five major Odia dialects (Cuttacki, Baleswari, Berhampuri, Sambalpuri, and Phulbani). Each utterance ranges from 3.5s to 8s and was recorded in a quiet environment. The dataset represents balanced coverage of six primary emotions across all major Odia dialects.
Used in the KuralHub benchmark (run ID SITB-OSED). See the results above.
